The Board of the Lakeland Cross Country Ski Club is looking for your feedback on how to improve club services.

The Club will make a draw for a free individual membership for the next ski season from all entries received by April 30, 2011. |
~ The Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 7 pm at the Tin Cup Restaurant (St. Paul Golf Club). Get a broad overview of the club's activities over the past year, it's current directions and financial health of the club. |
~ Join us for a full moonlight ski on Tuesday evening, February 7, 2012 at the Cooknell Trail site. Bonfire from 7:30 pm on.

~ Waxing and Technique Workshop - Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 10 AMInstructor : Vaughn Cooper from Vermillion Cross Country Ski Club
9:30 am - Registration and purchase or renewal of Membership Membership not required but strongly recommended
10:00 am - Waxing Workshop begins with Introduction to Kick Waxing Basics
1 pm - Classic Ski Technique using video and non-site trail instruction. Novice and seasoned skiers get feedback for improvement in technique. |

 ~ Mountain Ski Weekend - March 1 - 4, 2012.
Pierre Lamoureux is organizing a Mountain Ski Weekend with Canmore as a base camp. Proposed departure is Thursday, March 1 at 5 pm returning Sunday, March 4 in the afternoon. The ski itinerary could possibly include The Lake Louise Loppet (Sunday morning); Canmore Nordic Centre and Peter Lougheed Trails.
